It’s been another busy week at the City Football Academy...
With the Blues’ first home game since being crowned Premier League Champions, plus European semi-finals and Academy successes, the CityTV cameras have been everywhere!
On Sunday, the newly-crowned men’s first-team hosted Swansea at the Etihad Stadium and received a Guard of Honour in recognition of an incredible campaign.
There was more joy for our women’s Academy sides, who clinched the Development League Cup and Girls FA Youth Cup respectively at St George’s Park. In celebration, Pep Guardiola and his squad congratulated the young Blues at a special meet-and-greet training session.
Our women’s first-team were also undergoing preparations, with Sunday’s Champions League semi-final second leg clash at Lyon looming. Nick Cushing’s side take a precious 0-0 draw to France, having prevented the reigning champions from netting an away goal.
