The Manchester City players were back in training at the CFA this afternoon.
The 1-1 draw with Wolves on Saturday means we’ve collected seven points from three games so far this season, a solid start as we look to defend our Premier League crown.
But now attention turns to this weekend’s game at home to Newcastle United, a side we have an excellent recent record against.
After a rest day on Monday, the squad and staff were back out on the lawns of the CFA on Tuesday. Pep Guardiola was there to oversee proceedings, and, as ever, there was a focus on developing City’s possession game, with high-speed Rondos kicking things off.
They then moved on to finishing practice, and there were some fine moments of individual brilliance.
