After Manchester City’s 2-0 win away at Stoke on Monday, the squad travelled to Abu Dhabi to take in some warm-weather training ahead of the final months of the season.
And training on day one of the trip was something special.
At Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, Pep Guardiola hit the bar with unerring accuracy during a Crossbar Challenge, Ederson nearly took a tumble over a bag of balls and Kyle Walker emerged as a potential new goalkeeper!
And it all took place with a wonderful backdrop behind.
The players, winding down after their Premier League exertions, appeared in fine spirits after another hard-fought victory. The win at the Britannia Stadium left Guardiola’s side needing just two wins from our remaining eight matches of the season to clinch the title.
