The snow lay thick and even around the CFA but that didn’t deter Manchester City’s women as the team stepped up preparations ahead of Saturday’s FA Women’s Cup fourth round clash at home to Watford.
In spite of the near-arctic conditions, manager Nick Cushing and his players ensured we made the most of City’s very own winter wonderland going through a series of extensive training drills.

The Blues are in a rich vein of form right now, having won nine out of our last 10 games across all competitions.
And the players were clearly in high spirits, shrugging off the bone-chilling temperature, as they were put through their paces.
