The right-back was stood a good five yards behind the goal as he angled a half-volley into the back of the net and, not content with that, promptly went one better by doing it on the volley moments later.

In addition to Eric Garcia and Taylor Hawood-Bellis, several EDS players joined the first team at the City Football Academy on Sunday.

They too faced Everton this weekend, drawing 2-2 on Friday evening in a game in which Ian Carlo Poveda impressed.

The young winger got himself on the scoresheet in training, netting in a small sided game between Pep Guardiola’s squad.
