Manchester City moved back to the top of the Premier League table on Wednesday with a 2-0 win at home to Cardiff.

Man of the match Kevin De Bruyne scored the opener in rather fortuitous circumstances, before Leroy Sane’s strike just before half time settled the game. 

It was a well-worked goal, with Riyad Mahrez’s ball to the back post chested into Sane’s path brilliantly by Gabriel Jesus, and the German blasted the ball past Neil Etheridge in the Cardiff goal.
