Manchester City beat Leicester 1-0 at the Eithad on Monday evening, to ensure we go into the final game of the season one point above title rivals Liverpool.
It was Captain Fantastic, Vincent Kompany with the only goal of the game - and what a goal it was!
With 70 minutes on the clock against a resilient Leicester side, the skipper drove forward and unleashed a quite stunning strike into the top corner.
It was a phenomenal moment for the club and the captain, who said the goal was a long time coming!
“For 15 years, I’ve told people I’ll score one like that” Kompany said. “It’s not about the amount of goals you score it’s about when you score them.
“From the very start we had the right intensity to try and win this game. Kasper (Schmeichel) made some important saves and only I could beat him on a day like today! I’m just trying to contribute and today we went one step closer.”
And now you can go behind the scenes and see what went on in the tunnel!
