Pep Guardiola delivered a rousing team talk in the Etihad Stadium tunnel moments before City returned to the pitch for our second half comeback against Southampton.
City trailed the Saints 1-0 at the break, but broke the visitors’ stubborn defence twice in the final 20 minutes to get the victory our dominance deserved.
The fightback followed a motivational speech from Guardiola, who maximised the half-time break to deliver more encouraging words after his side had emerged from the changing room.
“Be together in this game,” said the boss.
“Be together until the end. Be positive in your minds, guys. Rhythm with the ball.
“Let the people up front win the game. Raz, Kevin, Sergio, Gabby.”
