Andrée Jeglertz’s side were looking forward to our first-ever League Phase encounter, but knew we’d need to be at our best to get a result.

WHERE TO WATCH CITY’S UWCL MATCHES
But City travelled to Bavaria full of confidence after starting the new season with a 100% record from our opening three WSL matches.
Victories over Birmingham City, Aston Villa and Liverpool had tested the reigning WSL champions in different ways, but ultimately the Blues had found a way to win in each assignment.
We’d have to find a similar sort of resilience to maintain that form against the German giants though.
