Andrée Jeglertz’s side were seeking to extend our 100% record at the start of the season to six games with victory over the Seagulls at the Joie Stadium.
Prior to this, City had been in fine form - scoring 16 times and conceding just six in our opening five games including a dramatic 4-2 defeat over Arsenal two weeks earlier.
The visitors had won just one of their first five games, but we were well aware of the threat they would pose - having needed a comeback to beat them here before losing on the south coast.
How did this one play out?
We keep scores hidden on our full-match replays so that those who didn’t see the game as it happened can watch with all the thrill of a live experience.
