Nedum Onuoha and women’s football editor George Kelsey sat down with our MCWFC Managing Director to touch on all aspects of life at the Club.
In this episode, we look back at Charlotte’s interesting past as a netball player and her role working in the 2012 London Olympic Games.
She then moved to the Manchester City Academy before moving to her current role working with Gareth Taylor‘s talented team.
O’Neill talks at length about her day-to-day tasks, balancing home life as a mum and reveals there are more new signings in the pipeline, as well underlining the importance of keeping top players at the Club by extending their deals.
“Delivering trophies - the Champions League, the league title... the ambitions of the men’s team are the same for us,” says O’Neill.
“Building a best in class girls academy is another target.
“I want to raise the aspirations for girls in Manchester and I want girls to want to play for City.”
All the above plus the Team GB kit, Steph Houghton’s hairstyle of the day (!) - plus plenty more fascinating insights and thoughts on an exciting season to come at home and in Europe.
