In our first outing in the FA Youth Cup in 2024/25 Oliver Reiss and his team have their focus set on looking to retain the prestigious trophy after our 4-0 win over Leeds at the Etihad in the final last season.
Heading into the match, City’s Under-18s had won eight league games on the bounce and were keen to extend that winning form to the latest competition in our schedule.
Palace are not a familiar opponent for City, with the Eagles competing in the Under-18 Premier League South.
But with all our preparation finalised before a night under the lights, the clash with Crystal Palace was firmly in view.
