Episode two of the new City Studios documentary which charts Ederson’s life and career is now available to watch on CITY+.

Ederson: Europe focuses on the Brazilian’s rise to prominence at Benfica and the subsequent move to Manchester City which has seen him establish himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

Featuring archive footage from his time in the Portuguese outfit’s youth set-up, the second instalment includes interviews with former manager Rui Vitoria and another Brazilian goalkeeper, Julio Cesar, as we explore how the young Ederson broke into the first team environment.

We also here from the 28-year-old, Director of Football Txiki Begiristain, goalkeeper coaches Xabi Mancisidor and Richard Wright and several team-mates as the second half of the episode turns its focus to the impact he has had at City and what it is like to work with him.
