The last time the teams met, City won this fixture 3-1 in April and in doing so took a giant stride towards our third successive PL2 title.
Victory for the hosts would us them record back-to-back league wins for the first time this season.
However standing in our way was a Chelsea side who would prove to be more than difficult opponents after their third place finish last term.
