Cole Palmer then added our second 10 minutes into the second half, after the winger fired a sensational effort into the top corner from 25 yards.
Palmer then added his second, and City’s third soon after to round off a dominant derby display.
The win now means Maresca and his team will be crowned champions if both Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur fail to win this gameweek.
