City's Elite Development Squad recorded a hard-fought 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion to go top of the Premier League 2 table
Enzo Maresca’s side dominated the Premier League 2 clash and deservedly came away with all three points on a snowy afternoon at the Academy Stadium.
Liam Delap opened the scoring for the City youngsters after he tapped in a Felix Nmecha cross just before the break.
This was then followed by a second courtesy of James McAtee 10 minutes into the second half.
The visitors did pull one back in the final moments through Teddy Junks, however it was too little too late for the Seagulls.
