In what was our final league assignment in 2024, Gareth Taylor’s side travelled to Walton Hall Park looking to sign off in style and apply further pressure to league-leaders Chelsea.
We entered the fixture buoyed having won 2-0 against St Polten in the Champions League in our previous assignments thanks to goals from Lily Murphy and Kerstin Casparij.
Last term, we collected home and away WSL wins over Everton, but with a number of key players ruled out through injury we would have to be at our best if we were to collect three points.
