Jeremy Doku rescued a point for City in a thriller at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
After firing us into a first-half lead with a brilliant strike, he scored another seven minutes into injury time.
Everton looked set for all three points when two goals from Thierno Barry and another from Jake O’Brien saw them take a 3-1 lead.
Erling Haaland scored his 25th goal of the season to pull us back into the contest before Doku’s dramatic late intervention.
A point means we are five points off the top of the Premier League but with a game in hand.
