Haaland found a cross from Rico Lewis to open the scoring in the West Midlands before summers signing Reijnders doubled our lead with a sensational strike shortly after.

Cherki, a player who is sure to excite City fans this season, completed the scoring with another fine goal, this time a clinical drive into the bottom right corner of Jose Sa’s net.
