Oliver Reiss’s side faced Derby for the second successive matchday. Earlier this month, City came out victorious against today’s opponents in the Under-18s Premier League North before the international break.
Derby were the last team to win this cup competition outside of Manchester, so it proved to be a tough assignment for our Under-18s who were seeking to finish top of Group A.
