After signing from Aston Villa in January, the 21-year-old is growing into Gareth Taylor‘s title-chasing squad at the Joie Stadium.
Here she speaks to hosts George Kelsey and Nedum Onuoha to reflect on her journey to City and how she’s settled in Manchester.
An exciting young English talent, Blindkilde Brown already had two full seasons of experience playing in the English top-flight before moving to Manchester, helping Villa to a fifth-place finish at the end of the 2022/23 campaign, totalling 21 appearances in Villa’s most impressive stint in the league.
Winning the Villans’ Young Player of the Year in each of the two seasons before moving, Blindkilde Brown has also represented England at various youth levels, including the U17, U19 and U23 teams.
Often deployed in a more attacking midfield role to help support an attacking line, the 20-year-old is enjoying getting used to a style of play she believes suits her strongest attributes well.
Since arriving, Blindkilde Brown has proven her awareness and speed of thought on the ball and will hope to keep developing alongside the world-class talents throughout our squad.
