Ben Wilkinson’s youngsters travelled to Thorp Arch to take on our Leeds counterparts in what served as a dress rehearsal for next month’s FA Youth Cup final between the two sides.
Second-placed City were looking to bounce back to winning ways after being edged out 2-1 by Manchester United in last Tuesday’s Premier League Under-18 Cup final.
Leeds, meanwhile, were seeking an 11th league win of the season to try and lift them into the top three.
