In our way was a resurgent Foxes, who came into the meeting on the back of a draw and consecutive league wins which had moved them out of the relegation zone.
We came into the game buoyed by our UEFA Champions League draw with Borussia Dortmund, ensuring our position as Group G winners.
On top of that, we had won our last league outing against Brighton 3-1.
