Professional British tennis player Liam Broady is the latest guest on the official Man City Podcast.

Born and raised in Stockport, Broady sat down with Rob Pollard and Nedum Onuoha ahead of the latest edition of Wimbledon, currently taking place across June and July.

At time of recording the 30-year-old was recovering from a stress fracture in his right ankle, but he passed a late fitness test in time to feature at the iconic tournament.

In the latest episode of the official Man City Podcast, Broady talks about going to Wimbledon as a fan during his early years, and why that’s helped him understand how to entertain spectators when he takes to the court.

Reaching a career high ranking of #93 in 2023, Broady also discusses the upcoming Davis Cup, set to take place in Manchester in September.

The conversation, of course, also focuses heavily on his beloved City, his recreation of Jack Grealish’s celebration after a Wimbledon win in 2023 and reflections on when he played our former winger Riyad Mahrez at tennis a few years ago.
