An even contest swung heavily in Guardiola’s side’s favour after two mistakes from Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.
With the scores locked at 1-1, the Brazilian misplaced two passes in three minutes, which City duly capitalised on as Gundogan and Sterling scored from close range to put us in a commanding position.
The brilliant Foden – who had a hand in both of Gundogan’s goals – lashed in a fourth to seal a memorable win with seven minutes remaining.
