Gareth Taylor welcomed the Seagulls to the Joie Stadium in what was our first home league fixture of the season.
We entered the match following a superb 3-0 win over Paris FC in UEFA Women’s Champions League which booked our place in the group stage of the prestigious competition.
On that occasion, goals from Chloe Kelly and Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw (two) secured the success at home.
However, Brighton were one of only two visiting sides to win at the Joie Stadium last term following their 1-0 WSL success over Taylor’s team in November 2023.
