Andrée Jeglertz’s side welcomed the Reds to the Joie Stadium in what was our final home outing of the season.
The Blues were aiming to preserve and extend our 100% record at our arena in the league and also edge closer to the title with a precious three points.
Standing in our way, though, were Gareth Taylor’s side who had lost only one of their previous six matches in all competitions.
In Anfield’s reverse fixture in October, goals from Iman Beney and Aoba Fujino helped us come from a goal down to record a 2-1 victory.
But how would the latest meeting between the teams play out?
