After advancing to the FA Youth Cup fourth round following a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, our attention now turned to picking up an eighth successive league win to complete what has been an impressive opening few months to the 2024/25 season.
But the Potters have always proved to be a tricky team to play. Organised and physical, Saturday’s assignment would prove to be another difficult affair.
