City keep up pressure in title race after Brentford win

The Etihad faithful were expectant with the Blues needing a victory as the top-flight title race reaches its denouement.

And the players delivered courtesy of goals from Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush.

Doku is a man bang in form and he scored his fifth goal in six games to open the scoring, curling past the helpless Caoimhin Kelleher.

Haaland showed ingenuity and no little skill to backheel home our second and then substitute Marmoush put the cherry on the icing on top of the cake in stoppage time with a fine finish.

The result moved us two points behind the Gunners with just three games remaining.
