A pulsating 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday means City remain top of the Premier League with seven matches of the season left to play.

Welcome to the latest edition of Manchester City’s official podcast, I’m your host Rob Pollard.

A fantastic game at the Etihad leaves City one point clear of Liverpool in what is turning out to be another very tense finale to a Premier League season.

City were excellent and will feel a hint of disappointment not taking all three points, but to be in the driving seat at this stage is a real positive.

De Bruyne opened the scoring – he now has six goals in his last six matches – only for Diogo Jota to equalise.

Gabriel Jesus re-established City’s lead with a fine finish from Joao Cancelo’s superb delivery, but Sadio Mane’s goal just after half time brought Liverpool level again.

After the game, we heard from Pep Guardiola and Kyle Walker – who was brilliant once again – and joining us in the Matchday Live studio were Shaun Goater and David James.
