The latest episode of the official Manchester City Podcast sees Club captain Steph Houghton discuss her life and career to date.

Hosted by Rob Pollard and Nedum Onuoha, each episode sees a player, legend, coach, manager or celebrity fan join them to take a look at City’s past and present.

An original member of our women’s team following its official relaunch in 2014, Houghton has been at the centre of our success over the following ten seasons.

Our record appearance holder with just under 250 matches and eight major honours under her belt, the defender has enjoyed a remarkable career in the game so far.

Having agreed to extend her contract until 2024, the skipper will be hoping for further success in the upcoming campaign.

And in the latest episode of the Manchester City podcast, she discusses her time in the game so far, including making her debut for Sunderland at just 13 years old!

An inspirational figure both on and off the pitch, she also discusses what it takes to be a leader, and how she aims to help the next generation of talent fulfill their potential.

All of that and more can be enjoyed by CITY+ and Recast subscribers via the video above!
