The versatile defender joined the Club in the summer of 2024 and has since made six appearances in all competitions for Gareth Taylor’s side.
Shortly after arriving from Bristol City ahead of the current campaign, she made her debut in a Champions League second qualifying round victory over Paris FC.
Layzell then remained in the Blues starting lineup and began our European clash with Barcelona at the Joie Stadium before euphorically breaking the deadlock in a famous 2-0 win and providing the assist for Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s strike.
However, she sustained an injury at the end of the clash with Pere Romeu’s side which kept her out of action until February.
Of course, her heroics against the reigning European champions are high on the agenda as she joins presenters George Kelsey and Nedum Onuoha.
