Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki were on target as we secured a huge three points away to Nottingham Forest.
City went into the game having won every match in December and aiming to end 2025 keeping up the pressure at the top of the table.
With few opportunities in the first half, the game exploded into life after the break with Reijnders finishing a sweeping City move.
However, the lead lasted just six minutes before Omari Hutchinson gor the equaliser for Forest.
Both sides pushed for a win and it was Cherki who had the final say with a low finish from the edge of the box after a well-worked corner.
