Pep Guardiola‘s European champions welcomed the Serbian side to the Etihad for our first game in Group G.
The match marks our first game in the competition since that historic victory over Inter in Istanbul in June.
It’s also the first time the two sides have ever met, with City never previously facing a side from Serbia.
2023/24 is our 13th consecutive season in the Champions League, reaching the knockout stages in each of the last 10 campaigns.
To do so again this year, we’ll have to qualify through a Group G that also includes RB Leipzig and Young Boys.
However, it all starts with this clash against Red Star.
