Our first of three away games in the newly-formatted Youth League, in line with the UEFA Champions League restructure, saw us travel to Slovakia after our 4-2 defeat at the Joie Stadium to Inter Milan.
After Bratislava, City’s Under-19s will have four more games before the 36-team league standings are confirmed. We will take on Sparta Prague (H), Sporting CP (A), Feyenoord (H) and Juventus (A) all before the end of the calendar year. And all of the games will be available to watch live on CITY+.
Ben Wilkinson‘s side approached the fixture in fine form in the Premier League 2, winning four successive games which means City sit third in the table.
