Omar Marmoush and Antoine Semenyo scored the goals in a 2-0 victory over the relegation-threatened visitors.
Marmoush, in his first start since returning from the African Cup of Nations, opened the scoring just six minutes in when he met Matheus Nunes’ cross.
The effort flew off his boot and was beyond Jose Sa in the Wolves goal before the Portuguese stopper could move.
We could have added more to our scoreline over the course of the first half with Semenyo and Rayan Cherki in particular going close.
But it looked like we’d have to settle for one until Semenyo stepped in on his left and cushioned a finish into the far corner.
Wolves improved in the second period and threw everything at us, but the Blues stood firm for a well deserved clean sheet.
