The 19:00 (UK) kick-off at the Joie Stadium will be available to watch live on mancity.com and on our Official Man City App with a CITY+ subscription.
City have been in strong form in the competition. Our FA Youth Cup journey began with a trip to Watford where Vicarage Road played host to City’s 2-0 third round win.
Goals from Matty Warhurst and Jaden Heskey topped off a dominating performance in the capital.
Then we travelled to holders West Ham. It took extra time for City to break an organised West Ham defence. Jacob Wright converted from the penalty spot before Justin Oboavwoduo’s strike from close range confirmed the victory.
Now we face Reading in the first round and our first home game of City’s FA Youth Cup journey.
It’s not often we face Reading as they compete in the Under-18 Premier League South. But, Wilkinson is confident his City youngsters will be prepared for the test the visitors will bring.
And Noble agrees. He’s been a prevalent figure in City Under-18s’ defensive line, making appearances in the Under-18 Premier League and Premier League 2, aged 16.
