A dominant all-round display at the CFA then garnered further reward after the break in the shape of an Alfie Harrison hat-trick with skipper Jaden Heskey and Ashton Muir also on target to round off the perfect way to start the season.
“Really pleased. I thought the lads carried out everything we asked them to do,” Wilkinson reflected.
“We asked them to be hungry and give us a performance where they showed how much they wanted to play.
“So, we are really pleased in terms of our objectives with and without the ball.
“I thought the performance and application of what we set out to do was really good. So overall we are very pleased.”
