Goals from Joe Hodge, Liam Delap, James McAtee and Jayden Braaf saw off the spirited Lancashire outfit as we made the final for the fifth time in six seasons.
City were the dominant team at St George’s Park, but were made to work hard for the victory against an industrious Blackburn side.
Hodge broke the deadlock in the 55th minute with a fizzing 30-yard drive and the hosts tired in the closing stages, when Carlos Vicens’ side struck to seal a comfortable victory.
Liam Delap doubled our lead with a close range finish, before James McAtee and Jayden Braaf capitalised on late errors to add gloss to the score line.
