But with half-time approaching, Ashton Muir lashed the ball home to give us a deserved lead, before Isaiah Dada-Mascoll doubled it from outside the box to give us a commanding advantage heading into the half-time break.
Justin Oboavwduo nodded home a third just after the hour mark to put the result of the match beyond all doubt.
Alfie Harrison would notch up a fine fourth, stroking home after being set-up by substitute Farid Alfa-Ruprecht.
But the pick of the goals goes to City’s final strike, with a mesmerising run from Kane Taylor set-up Nico O’Reilly to beat his defender and round off the scoring with a well-taken finish.
