EDS midfielder Oscar Bobb praised his team-mates and how unified the squad have been this season.

Bobb provided the assist to City’s first goal in our 4-3 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in our final home game of the season.

All four of City’s goals came in the opening 45 minutes. Ben Knight opened up the scoring after seven minutes.

Josh Adam then bagged himself a brace which was separated by a goal for Micah Hamilton who scored a fine solo effort.

And for Bobb, getting to lift the trophy on home soil was the icing on the cake.

“It was great. Everyone was here. The injured guys, all the staff so I think everyone is very happy to be here in this great moment. It’s been a good season,” said Bobb.

Wolves, however, proved to be difficult opponents, rallying with three goals of their own.

But City held firm to record a 17th league win of the season.

“I think it’s what we want, the tough moments, that’s where we develop. Brian really pushes for it that in those moments that we really develop and see how well we can do as a team and as a unit,” explained Bobb.

“We are not too upset when it happens because we know that’s something we need to work on and we do enjoy those moments.”
