EDS head coach Brian Barry-Murphy was full of praise for City's youngsters after we further pressed our PL2 title claims with a fine 2-1 win away at Spurs.

In what was our first game back after the March international break, the City Under-21s fought back from a goal behind to secure a hard-fought victory at Stevenage.

Carlos Borges struck with his 16th league  goal of the season to draw us level at half-time.

Skipper Shea Charles then headed home his first league goal of the season to seal victory after the break and extend our lead at the top of the table to four points with just five games left.

And it left the boss full of praise for his players.

“I loved the performance. We had to overcome a difficult game but some of the football we played at times was breathtaking,” said Barry-Murphy.

“I loved the behaviours and attitude of the players. I got real sense of togetherness.

“There is so much excitement in the squad and I had a good feeling coming into the game but the way we played exceeded that.”
