The City Football Academy played host to our top-of-the-table clash with the Red Devils on Saturday morning.
Despite the frost, City and United were both hot out the gates, with the opening 45 minutes flying by as high quality football was displayed by both sides, but neither team could find the breakthrough.
City looked the brighter side in the second half, however, it was the visitors who struck first.

Tyrone Samba’s stunning first-time finish from the edge of the United box lighted a brief fire in City’s belly.
But a curling free-kick from substitute Jim Thwaites restored United’s two-goal lead and in turn confirmed a first defeat in the calendar year for our Under-18s.
