It was a comfortable first half for City who created 14 chances, and contained our opponents to just three, but Ben Wilkinson’s side struggled to find that final moment of magic that would have put us ahead at half-time.
But our young boys in blue stayed focus, and reaped the reward of their hard work as they put six past Leverkusen in the second half.

Reigan Heskey opened up our account from the penalty spot on 48 minutes before Divine Mukasa doubled our lead with a well-worked corner routine.
Christian McFarlane, on his return from injury, scored his first goal for the Club with a composed left-footed finish just after the hour mark.
Mukasa quickly made it four with a low, left-footed shot of his own, which nestled nicely into the far corner.
Substitute Floyd Samba scored a fantastic solo goal before Mukasa completed the evening and his hat-trick from the penalty spot to top off our best performance in the Youth League this season.
