In a game played out amidst constant driving rain, Christian McFarlane’s first half strike had sent the Blues’ Under-21s in ahead at the break.
And though Leeds threatened on occasions, Matty Warhurst then struck twice in the second half to both seal the victory and maintain his own fine run of form.
The victory was enough to lift City up into sixth place in the PL2 table with seven games to go in the regular season.
