Cole Palmer opened the scoring for City just after the twenty minute mark, sweeping home from the edge of the area, before setting up Rico Lewis, who lashed the ball into the roof of the net from a tight angle.
Palmer scored our third before half-time, curling in a gorgeous free-kick from 25 yards into the top corner, seeing us go into the break with a comfortable lead.
Kayky finished a nicely worked team move to grab our fourth, before Liam Delap scored a quick fire double in what was turning into a more than dominant display from Brian Barry-Murphy‘s side.
Darko Gyabi rounded off the scoring with a well-taken seventh, seeing the EDS complete our Premier League 2 campaign in style before lifting the trophy in front of the Etihad crowd.
