However, Chelsea produced a good response and breached our defence as Deivid Washington levelled the scores by sweeping home from close range.
Both sides had chances in the second half, but it was Chelsea who won the game on 88 minutes when Josh Brooking drove into the area and fired home.
Undeterred from falling behind, we would have rescued a point in stoppage time were it not for a fantastic save from Eddie Beach to deny Lakyle Samuel.
