Brief highlights: City U18s 4-2 Newcastle

City’s youngsters extended our winning form to six consecutive matches in all competitions with a 4-2 win over the Magpies. 

A first half brace from Luca Fletcher resembled City’s dominant display in the opening 45 minutes. 

A brief spell of possession and fluid football from Newcastle allowed them to level the score. Former Blue Alfie Harrison scored Newcastle’s first followed closely by a Darren Palmer strike. 

City remained focused on the outcome and our resilience paid off as late goals from Ashton Muir and Matty Warhurst helped secure all three points.
