Manchester City's Elite Development Squad (EDS) recorded yet another emphatic Premier League 2 victory after defeating Southampton 7-1 at the Academy Stadium.
Premier League 2 top goal scorer, Liam Delap, was at the forefront of City’s free-flowing attack as he scored a perfect hat-trick to take his remarkable recent record to 13 goals in six league games.

Second half substitute, Felix Nmecha also netted a brace for the City youngsters, whilst Callum Doyle and Adrian Bernabe got their names on the score sheet to round off a scintillating display by Enzo Maresca‘s side.
The win extends City’s impressive unbeaten run to 12 games, and regains our five point lead at the top of the Premier League 2 table.
