Manchester City's Elite Development Squad (EDS) extended our unbeaten run to 11 games after an emphatic 5-0 win over West Ham United.

A hat-trick from Cole Palmer, a strike from Liam Delap and an own goal secured a remarkable win for Enzo Maresca‘s side, ensuring that the City youngsters remain five points clear at the top of the Premier League 2 table.

Palmer got Maresca’s men off to the perfect start after finding the net inside two minutes to open the scoring.

The City winger then replicated this quick first half start in the second 45 minutes, as Palmer scored his, and City’s second just a minute after the restart to double our lead.

Our third came soon after as a Tommy Doyle cross cannoned off West Ham man Josh Okotcha, before Delap added a fourth after breaking in behind the Hammers defence and smashing into the bottom corner.

Palmer completed his impressive hat-trick with our fifth of the afternoon with 10 minutes to play, to cap off a superb all-round performance from the City youngsters.
